Little Lonely Spaceships

Little lonely spaceships

Usually take their time,

Since they have no where to go.

I could put up a sign on my door:

‘Spaceships welcome here’

But still they would not land.

I could wait through the night

Outside in the dark,

But still they would not land.

I can only assume they like being alone.

Which, I thought, was something

We could have in common.

But, you know,

Together.
